Whately Town Hall Feasibility Study

Whately, MA
,
2016
Years of deferred maintenance and rising energy costs motivated Whately’s Selectboard to propose a renovation of Whately’s beloved Town Hall into a community center and museum ofTown history. Built in 1844, the clapboard meeting house is the symbolic center of the community. Margo Jones Architects worked closely with the Municipal Building Committee to compare and contrast different ways of meeting future town office needs while renovating the original structure. The project is in design with construction expected to begin in 2017.
