Dorrie Brooks, AIA

Principal

Dorrie co-manages the firm with Kristian Whitsett, AIA. A graduate of Brown University with a twenty year career as a documentary producer, Dorrie returned to school to pursue architecture in 2009. A graduate of UMass Amherst with a Masters in Architecture, her communications background has helped JWA deepen its civic engagement, research and social responsibility efforts. She leads several current education, housing and planning projects.

Dorrie is also a parent, a rower and an active resident of Florence, Massachusetts. She is politically active on behalf of the profession of architects and serves on the Board of Directors of AIA MA.
