ARCHITECT

Jillian joined JWA in 2020. A licensed architect, she comes with a decade of experience in the building industry with experience in planning, sustainability consulting, and preservation. Jillian received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Lewis & Clark College in 2007 and her Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 2011. She has worked in Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon, and California.

Jillian is particularly passionate about climate change mitigation and adaptation through architecture. Her interests lie in working with existing buildings and in equitable design. She is active with the Western Massachusetts AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE), is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Passive House Consultant. Jillian lives in Northampton, MA and enjoys spending her free time exploring her new home state while working to renovate her own 1890’s house.
