DPHS Reaches Completion

David Prouty High School in Spencer, MA achieves substantial completion this month. The milestone was marked with a ribbon cutting attended by MSBA Executive Director Mary Pichetti as well as local and state elected officials. The project was constructed in phases with the most recent phase completing the renovation of the original 1970s A-wing of the school containing the auditorium and cafeteria. The new plan is anchored by dramatic new entry, welcoming student commons and a central courtyard that connects all wings of the 126,823gsf school. The $112M project ‘s design was led by JWA and required a one year feasibility study, a successful town debt exclusion vote, an additional year of design, and two years of construction.
