East Longmeadow High School Welcomes Students

After only 18 months of construction, the Town of East Longmeadow celebrated the opening of their new 191,796 gsf high school with a well-attended ribbon cutting on October 15, 2026. The JWA designed school was constructed less than feet from the original school. Designed by Jones Whitsett Architects and managed by Fontaine Brothers, Inc., the construction required 6 day work weeks and astounding teamwork on all sides to meet its aggressive schedule.
